CHEM 220 Group Review In-Person

Group Review involves regularly-scheduled, tutor-led study and review sessions, conducted outside of and in addition to normal classroom/lecture time.

Sessions are open to all students enrolled in any section of a particular course, and seek to provide students with an opportunity to explore course materials from new perspectives. Students who attend Group Review tend to have higher course grades and semester GPAs than students who do not attend, and regular attendees have an even higher boost! If you are struggling with a course, attending Group Review sessions may be a great way to improve your understanding and academic performance.

In Group Review, students work actively and collaboratively under the guidance of a trained SI Leader to come to deeper understanding of key concepts and problems. SI Leaders are tutors who have previously taken and done well in the course in question. They can help students improve their study skills and understanding of course materials based on their own personal experiences as a tutor and as a student.
